"Vintage 38 has excellent selection of wines by the glass & bottle. Nice selection of craft beers both on tap and in the can. Offer options for snacks and cheese plates. Atmosphere is very cool with variety of seating options from at the bar to high tops and lounge sets. Staff has always been great to us. Stop in & check it out!"

"I have been going here for a while now and lately, I am VERY disappointed in the service. I believe the owner, Jennifer took care of me the last two times i was in and she is rude and unwelcoming... In two visits I brought in more than $120 in sales and a "Hello" or "Thank you" would have been nice. The bartender Eric however, IS very friendly and would go back just to see him. I think my money is best spent at a different Greendale establishment, there are plenty! "The atmosphere is great and they have a good selection of cheeses. Unfortunately it seems to be run by someone without a lot of experience going to wine cafes. There's no bread served with the cheese and the only fruit is dried apricots. It's surprising not to have grapes or dried cranberries. They serve sparkling wine and champagne in Bordeaux glasses rather than champagne flutes, which is really weird. They also serve their flights in small decanters rather than glasses, so instead of trying each side by side you have to completely finish each one before starting on the others. Makes it really hard to compare It's a decent stop, but they need to take some lessons from places like Thief Wine"

"They have good wine. Although not a huge selection compared to other wine bars I have been to. My fiancé enjoyed their beer selection, they had several beer on tap as well in can/bottles. It is decorated nicely. We enjoyed the comfy seats. It does get loud, we were there at a time where every table was taken. I liked the option of being able to order from our phone or we could go up to order. They were quick to clean tables as people left. And the staff was very friendly and was able to answer my questions. Overall rated 4 stars just based of wine selection and the noise, although I think 4.5 would be more accurate."
