"Quick Summary: - Front desk customer service is beyond terrible. The lady in the front is rude, condescending, and generally unprofessional. -Massage is OKAY depending on who your masseuse is. I like Hong but honestly, wouldn't roll the dice on someone random. - I can not recommend this establishment, nor will I be patronizing this business ever again. What happened.... I was a regular client and I loved my old masseuse O, who left R&R recently. However, I recently tried a new gal 2 weeks ago, Hong, whom was also fabulous . Which is why Im bummed that I have to write this review, especially for a place that i've been going to, for over a year and have referred several friends and family to R&R Thai Spa, it's $60 for a full body (if you pay cash)which is a great deal. I made an appointment on March 4th for March 6th at 5pm with a masseuse that I tried for the first time 2 weeks ago since my main gal stopped working for R&R. I was called repeatedly by R&R spa on March 6th while I was working, by the 3rd phone call, I called back and was notified by the lady over the phone (front desk gal) that their policy was to call the customer and confirm because many customers cancel or forget. I told her I would not forget and I would be there by 5 pm. She then made it a point to tell me that I needed to be there exactly by 5 pm. because my masseuse had someone at 6 p.m., and she would not go over the time. I was confused by this statement, but I told her I would be there before 5 p.m., and she said great, and that was that. When I arrived inside R&R it was 4:55pm and no one was at the front desk, I peeped my head down the long hall and saw a gal, I smiled and took a step forward and she yelled to me to wait in the front, she then said "in the front" again and was pointing. I was taken aback by this, and while R&Rs policy is to pay 1st, before your massage, i didn't think her response was necessary. She then met me at the front and attempted to exchange pleasantries. I was polite and paid her. At this point, it was 4:48pm, and she told me to sit down, wait, and have a seat. I asked her how long i would be waiting, and she rolled her eyes at me and told me i would not be waiting long that my masseuse was in the room. I calmy said to her that I was concerned about the amount of time I'd be waiting because I was already warned that my massage would be cut short due to time constraints. She then hugfed and puffed, raised her voice, and told me to relax, and that was it for me. I said, "You have been rude to me and downright unprofessional, and I had been coming to this location for over a year and have never been treated like this." She proceeds to Lie and tell me that my masseuse told her to tell me to this because I'm always late (1, I'm NEVER late and 2 this was my 2nd time with this new gal). I was livid and told her I wanted to be refunded. She looked confused and tried to apologize, and I said I was very disappointed and wanted my money back, and I would not be getting a massage."
"I had severe back pain and issues with my body that resolved with just one session with Lisa. This place is small but neat and the message therapist is very good. Highly recommend and will be visiting again."
"My sister and i love going in R&R to relax and release stress and it always helps and feels so good. It’s one of the best thai massage we’ve experienced. Oh and they give you tea after the massage and its so good!"
"Made an appointment the day before for a massage. I came in at my appointment time and was told to wait 10 minutes which was fine. Once 15 minutes passed I was told that the masseuse had left and was coming back in 15 minutes. They gave me a refund since I was not going to wait 30 minutes for a massage especially since I had made a reservation the day before and had other plans. Extremely disappointed by the service. I have been coming for many years and this was the worst service I’ve experienced by far. If you get a massage the massage is actually good but this visit has left a bad impression."
"Best first visit ever, it was absolutely amazing! I went in for a 90 min thai massage, Lisa was my therapist and she took such great care of me. Used hot oil (which I love), heated towels and possibly stones. Not quite sure but every touch on my body was just right. Before leaving, you are givin the most delicious cup of tea. And yes, I will definitely be returning and would recommend this spot to anyone and everyone. One recommendation would be to change the cups for the tea, since they are made of wax and that gets thinner as the tea is hot."
