Paddy Coughlin's Pub
About the Business
Paddy Coughlin's Pub, located at 14 Sherman Avenue West in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, is one of the most unique and authentic Irish pubs in the state. Established in 2009 by the Landowski family and named after their mother, the pub strives to make guests feel at home. The interior has been completely remodeled to create an Irish Pub atmosphere, blending Irish and Polish heritages to create the first "Pirish" pub in the area.
Under new ownership since 2012, former employee Erin has continued the traditions of Paddy Coughlin's Pub. The mission of the pub is to provide a unique environment with quality food and great service. Regular renovations and scheduled closings for staff vacations ensure that the pub remains a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Erin and Mitchell Patterson, the current owners, welcome you to Paddy's and invite you to learn more about the pub's history and traditions. Whether you have questions about the building, the family, the food, or the beer, the staff at Paddy Coughlin's Pub is happy to share their knowledge and make your experience memorable. "This is a great Irish Pub if you're in town you should stop by for a slab of corned beef and a pint. Remember to mind your P and Q's during your visit! The whiskey pours are amazing!"
"This is the best Irish pub in the area and they try hard for excellence. Often busy at lunch time but worth a little waiting if you have the time. Great atmosphere, good for business lunch or lunch with friends. Guinness and cider on tap most days."
"Awesome food. A bit noisy. Service-Just OK, but they were busy. 2 people at the bar. 2 beers each. Anticipated ordering 2 sandwiches but got caught up in curiosity and ordered 2 appetizers and one sandwich (costing more than 2 sandwiches would have) and received a SPF fee. Shared Plate Fee.* I think not again. There are plenty of other restaurants. *Corrected to reflect what I read. Bartender/server did not come back to answer question."
"I arrived with a large group after a day at the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool festival. We didn't have a reservation, but the staff was super accommodating and offered us several options for seating. Our server Holly was on it and kept track of each individual tab with zero problems. We loved our food and the atmosphere after a long day of shopping and walking the fairgrounds. A big thank you to Paddy Coughlin's staff. Excited to return next year (and giving you more of a head up!)"
"Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service! The soups are Amazing and homemade. The sandwiches were sooo good. The steak sandwich was flavorful and not chewy. The bread pudding was a great way to end a fabulous lunch…along with a great Irish coffee. It’s a must for food…and drink!!"
