"I’d give this zero stars if I could. This company has dramatically gone down hill in the 30 years or so I’ve been doing business with them. I ordered items from them and they have been back ordered for more than 1 month and I get a different “story” from them every time I call them. What incompetent employees! Oh well, I guess they’ll go the way of Sears and go out of business. Please go out of business!!"
"Buyer beware I am deeply frustrated with Land's End. The company is a mess. I made a purchase and everything I ordered was not what I ordered. Example: I ordered a woman's medium sized nightshirt and they sent me an enormous white turtleneck teashirt that was triple tent size and nothing I ordered. The other two were tiny extra small even though I ordered a medium. Insult to injury- It took me half a dozen hours to address the return - SERIOUSLY 6 hours of my life wasted. I made 4 phone calls and supposedly it was taken care of in the first call by a supervisor, but I never received anything. When I called back, they were beyond rude and stated there was no record and it was too late to return it. Multiple calls later I finally got the QR code to ship it (another half hour wasted literally sitting outside UPS spinning on this - check the UPS 5 star review for how cool they were). And then insult to insult the refund was only partial! Now I am on hold for 45 minutes for my 7th call and 6th hour for a paltry $15? this is so so unfortunate and what I consider a complete disrespect of my time. If I calculated the value of my time, they would owe me over $500 -$1000. NOT COOL!"
"Lands end can't cancel or change an order after one hour. The CSR rep told me I would have to receive the item, still 10-14 days away, then return it. She said their system will not allow them to make any changes after one hour. It was literally within two hours of the order being placed. This is why Amazon is devouring the competition. Everything Amazon does is built around the customer and anticipating any and all needs the customer may have. Who in their right mind at Lands End world come up with such a policy? Why did I venture away from Amazon for even one order? Then Lands End emails me a customer satisfaction survey. This survey may be one of the worst of all time. They only asking three questions. 1. My specialist was knowledgeable, respectful, and courteous 2. I received a timely response 3. Were you able to complete the purpose of your visit today? That was it. No abilty to write in to a text box my issues hoping that someone would respond and help. Only one to five stars for the first two questions or a simple YES or NO for the third. No ability to complain about the problems with my Lands End order or being forced to accept the order. No ability to express my frustration that their internal policies don't allow me to change or cancel after one hour and now having to wait till it arrives in 10-15 days, then mail it back. That is absolutely nuts. The CSR said there is NOTHING they could do. I would just have to return the order when I receive it. The order wouldn’t even arrive for another 11 – 14 days, but you can’t change an order, or cancel an order after one hour of the order being placed. This is why Amazon is so superior to Lands Ends and so many other ecommerce sites. My mistake for ordering outside of Amazon."
"I can't get enough of my favorites when they go on sale. I'm so impressed with everything I am buying gifts for my family and friends and I know I can rely on the sizes! The only thing I need is an OX in plus sizes. I plan to send in some personal designs this year. Thanks for such good service"
"This was the most unpleasant job I've had in my life. Meetings frequently devolved to screaming matches. The meetings produce no resolution or changes in procedures. They'll "re-org" every quarter. Useless work may be assigned just to keep the facade of looking busy instead of facing the fact that the company is unprofitable. Strange atmosphere in office while managers beat the drums of, "return to the office even though you don't have to." Very bad experience all around."
