"What a classic! Our bartender was the best I’ve ever had (woman in her thirties with Princess Leia buns on the back of her head). She is fast, fun and filled us in on the Water Street developments and all the other questions we threw at her. We had a blast. Thank you!"
"Great bar with a laid back atmosphere. Great selection of beers on tap. Cool vintage jukebox and beer can decorations."
"Went here last Friday night. We had an overnight stay in Eu Claire and decided to check out the night life..,now Id like to tell you that I'm an older guy and not a college hipster, and I'd like to say this place was awesome. The regulars were cool to visitors and very accommodating. Needless to say we had a blast there."
"Absolutely love this place to catch up with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Almost never too loud, amazing artworks and musical artists who have played there in the past decades lining the walls. This place has been around a while. Bartenders are great with friendly vibes, love the clutter, vintage beer cans and knickknacks lining the mirror behind the bar. Has a TV for sports but the volume is kept down which is SO appreciated and it's not obnoxious sized. Jukebox with great hits. Highly recommend."
"Lots of history here. A cross between a dive bar and historical relics (old beer cans, music memorabilia, and bar history). There is a relatively small selection of beer and liquor here. This is a neat place for a drink and a stroll around to view the history. Bartender was friendly. Other patrons tended to be in the hipster side (you make the judgment call if that's good, bad or indifferent). Note there is not a good sign on the exterior of the bar, so look for the awning."
