"Trying to speak to a human in the phone is mission impossible. Have ran the wrong insurance for my meds and told me to have to come back the next day to try it again, then they ran the wrong insurance AGAIN, had to come back another day. One month they gave me the wrong dosage and another month they gave me 3x the amount of meds I have prescribed. Never not have a “delay” and the app is frequently wrong/not coordinated with the pharmacy. My PCP clinic has been unable to reach them for two weeks and then another provider I see has also been unable to reach them. Finally switching pharmacies"
"Today I ordered my script to be delivered from your location at 900 West Ave S in La Crosse WI 54601. First off the pharmacy tech was upset when I stated I had a change of address which she replied verbatim "oh look I have to make another label now." In a hostile tone. Then she said that she'd have to get door dash to come pick it up when I'm clearly a member of Walgreens and qualified for free shipping. Also why when I called back did she state that "We aren't liable when door dash comes to pick it up after it leaves a store, that's if they delivered to the right address." Obviously the woman that answered the phone purposely didn't give her name because she had ill intentions and got lippy with me each time I asked her what address did you put on the label and she repeatedly told me they aren't liable when door dash picks it up She was mad because she had to do her job? Now what will Walgreens do for me since I'm now out of my script that was sent god knows where? I'm a social influencer looking for a new piece to do a story on about businesses that have lost control of their operations. This will be excellent material for my next live"
"Individual contributors not able to perform due to poor management. Pharmacist and staff are lovely, but good luck getting ahold of them since walgreens keeps a skeleton crew. I guess that time sensitive medication wasn't too important after all."
"Be prepared to wait a long while. I had a vaccine scheduled for 11:15 am (arrived at 11am). I didn't make to the front of the line until 11:50am. Then had to fill out paperwork, that I already filled out online, in duplicate (one for each vaccine). Meanwhile, an older gentlemen jumped the line, and it was OK with the workers. I had to assert my place to be seen in the order we were waiting. I get that staffing issues are a problem. At a minimum, folks just picking up meds should be separate from the folks checking in for vaccinations. I don't get how there isn't a separate line, or maybe, every 10 minutes ask if someone is getting a vaccine that they can come forward."
"I forgot my meds as I headed out of town and only realized it when I checked into my hotel. I called it into my local doctor at home and had them send it to the closest Walgreens to my hotel. Three hours later I stop in to pick up two prescriptions for a total of 12 pills for my blood pressure. The lady tells me at the counter that I’m not up for a refill, so I told her the story I forgot them and was only picking up 4 days worth. This turned into a long discussion with the pharmacist and she comes back and tells me they can fill it if I pay $11.99. Great I said I have no problem, she then tells me it will take hours. One of the prescriptions is complete. I said to put 8 pills in another bottle it will take hours? I don’t know what kind of business this place thinks that they are in, but when a doctor calls in an order, it should be filled regardless of insurance approval. Instead of taking care of the customer and printing a label and putting 8 pills in a bottle, they throw their weight around with a power trip and tell me to take a hike and come back hours from now. Walgreens is a big company and my tiny $11.99 means nothing to them. Customer service doesn’t mean anything to them as well."
