"It's a beautiful and quite get away place. Nick's food is good and Lihht House restaurant is delicious food."
"Good beach for a long walk end to end on the beach, has great views and also a coastal trail near by for Pacific Ocean views. It’s a dog friendly beach which is the best part if you have a dog that likes playing around without the leash in some parts of the beach. Kid friendly too. There are showers and decent size parking lot. It’s a lil dirty and not maintained well."
"Great beach for surfing and body boarding. We appreciate the bathroom and the outdoor shower facilities. Dog friendly, too."
"I always love this place. It's close enough for me to come visit when it's nice out. Sometimes, you get a few weirdos who think they own the beach or someone that had 1 to many. This is a very dog friendly beach, so if sparky isn't too friendly, probably best to leave them at home. Unless you are training them, then totally fine. Good brewery, coffee shop, taco bell cantina, and a few other places within close proximity to the beach. So if you forget something, you can likely get it within 10 minutes. It is paid parking most days in the main parking lot. The payment area is near the showers, which you will need to walk the receipt back to your car to place it in. There are free spots near, but you'll need to look for them."
"Walked on Devils Slide road and admired the view. Took a little over an hour to walk from end to the other ans back. There were signs along the way that described what was around you, along with some history. Lots of hawks and bird varieties. Old WW1 (ww2?) artillery. The view was incredible! Don't get off the road, though. Lots of poison oak! Also, there were 2 break ins with the parking lot. No cameras. Officer said it happens there all the time, so maybe set up a go-pro and catch them if you happen to walk it."
