Reviews of Turning Waters Bed, Breakfast & Brewery
"Brenda goes over and above to meet all of your needs. She is a spirited, high energy hostest. Who will help you educate you and answer you honestly. If you love micro beweries it is a must! Met so many wonderful people, right out the back door! People come from miles around for their brews, they also sponser other small business owners products! You most definitely will leave feeling like a friend! Can't wait to go back!"
"Amazing place!! The couple that owns this were awesome!! Power couple for sure! They were very informative about the area. The food was to die for including last minute mods to our order to accommodate us. During breakfast one morning she noticed my daughter hadn't eaten her food. My daughter is weird and has something against fruit so she changed the menu for her. I'll most definitely be back!! The place is decorated so cute!! Amazing place to stay and would absolutely recommend. Thanks for such an impressive stay!"
"Was concerned at first because of the down time of the season. Brenda did a great job of making us fill welcome and sharing many interesting things about the local businesses and attractions. We enjoyed learning about and observing eagles at the National Eagle Center. Even though the brewery was closed on the days we visited, it was great to have the brewery to our selves. We enjoyed learning about and trying the different brews. I especially enjoyed the sweet stouts. We thoroughly enjoyed being spoiled by Brenda during our stay. Looking forward to returning with family or friends."
"We've been a big fan of Hoppy Girl Brewery but recently had the opportunity to stay at Turning Waters. Such a diamond in the ruff! Turning Waters offers an unique stay experience that is what the the original B&B was made of. A warm welcoming home like atmosphere with charming, clean comfortable rooms ( we were lucky enough to have a jacuzzi and fireplace in our room!). Definitely not your big stuffy big company soulless rental. No boxed continental breakfast either. We felt really spoiled getting a home cooked breakfast with fresh ingredients (with a beer chaser!) and enjoying good old fashioned conversation with the owners at the breakfast table. Would highly recommend when you are looking for a little piece of home away from home! Thanks Brenda!"
"We stayed at Turning Waters Bed & Breakfast for three nights and it was outstanding. Ford did an incredible job making us feel at home. His breakfasts were off the charts. He also offered many suggestions for sightseeing, drinking and dining. Our room was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. Although their brewery was on winter hours and not open during our stay, Ford was gracious and gave us the opportunity to try his items on tap. If you plan on visiting the area, Turning Waters Bed & Breakfast is the place to stay."
