"Scottie and his crew of mechanics are awesome. Their prices are very competitive."
"2 hours away from home and I had a tire blowout on the highway and Rob from Larkins GMC came very quickly with a tow truck and was able to get me back on the road without too much delay. Very friendly and just from my experience with Rob I'd look at buying a vehicle from them."
"I wanted to rate this a 1, but the mechanics helpfulness made me put my rating to a 2. I have taken two vehicles to this shop, both were horrible experiences. The guy that runs the shop’s name is Scott. I have never dealt with someone in charge who is as lazy and uninformed as him. 1st experience: Did a bunch of front end work to my Dodge Ram on my own, and I just wanted an alignment. Low and behold, Scott calls, telling me they don’t “work on dodges” and I would have to take it somewhere else. Also told me it would “cost a fortune” to fix, without even looking at the parts that I had already replaced on my own, and he didn’t have the time to work on it. Second experience, Took another vehicle up to get it diagnosed (sounded like a bad wheel bearing), Scott called and said that, and I quote “there’s a hole big enough in the frame for me to put my fist through. The truck is junk, and you shouldn’t be driving it”. Went to pick up said truck yesterday after business hours, looked all underneath the truck, could not find the hole he was talking about. Took the truck in this morning to have the mechanic show me where the “hole” was… no hole, nothing to put a fist through. The mechanic was shaking his head in disapproval after speaking with him about what Scott had said to me. The mechanic ensured that the truck would be fine through at least the winter, which is all I need it for. In conclusion, Scott is a moron, and shouldn’t be running the shop. I will not bring any more business to this establishment until Scott doesn’t work there. I spent more than half the day yesterday looking for new trucks, and almost dropped 24k on a new to me vehicle because of the misinformation I was given. Only talk to the mechanics about what needs to be done to your vehicle, they’re much more trustworthy than the idiot in charge."
"My pick up truck broke down outside of Tomah the evening of Super Bowl Sunday. I called for after hours towing, and Scott was there within 15 minutes! He gave me a ride to a hotel and took my truck to the shop. He called me the next morning. and said it will be repaired and ready to go by 10:00 a.m.! Great prices and excellent service! Rory from Minneapolis."
"Terrible customer service and wouldn’t even attempt to look at my truck. I called to make an appointment to get my truck looked at because the transmission seems to be slipping. A lady answered and told me that the service department was at lunch and that I should call back after 1 and then hung up. She was very rude and had a rude tone. I called back at 115 and was transferred to service by someone else and sat on hold for 9 minutes so I hung up. I called back 30 min. Later and finally talked to someone in service and I was told that they don’t have the manpower or the time to look at something as extensive as the transmission. I asked if he knew a certified GMC dealer that would and he told me black river falls or eau Claire. I then asked if he would be able to look at my alternator because my battery died all of a sudden and he said he is wide open the following Wednesday Thursday or Friday. If you have those days wide open then why can’t you look at my transmission? He was also very rude and seemed like I was bugging him. Seems like they do not want anyone’s business so I will never bring them any."
