Betty's Pies

"I decided to stop by here in the evening during the summer and I'm really glad I did! I was able to find parking in the back lot, but it was definitely packed. They have indoor seating for those that also want to grab lunch and the back windows were taking to-go orders. The inside was very busy and it was a 40 min. wait to get seated, so we decided to just try the pies. We ordered the Old Fashioned Apple, Blackberry Peach Crunch, Cheesecake, and Apple Strawberry Crunch pie slices (~$6 each). It took about 15 minutes to get our slices. All pies tasted good, but the Cheesecake pie was awesome! We ended up ordering a full Cheesecake pie to-go."

"Passed this place on our way to state parks and decided to try a piece of pie. Many options to choose from some we never heard of before. Very tasty pie, friendly staff. Worth stopping in if you are passing by!"

"We loved the atmosphere in Betty’s place. We had a room with a fireplace overlooking Lake Superior. Our waitress was excellent! The food was average, nothing great. I had a sandwich that was big, but very dry. I had to ask for mayonnaise. Fried were warm, but not hot. I had the turtle coconut cream pie. It was more of a chocolate pie than a coconut crème pie. My son’s key lime pie was the best."

"My family and I really enjoyed eating here. The ambiance is definitely a big part of the experience! While eating we could look out across the road on lake Superior. It was beautiful! And the food was pretty good. The French fries were my personal favorite, so definitely worth the upgrade in my book. My husband loved his Carmel apple pie shake!"

"Pie worth waiting for We were lucky enough to go on a day where we found easy parking. Many times, I have driven by, and the parking lot is full. I can see why. Their pie is delicious. I would especially recommend any of their fruit pies. You can even order outside at the window if you want to get pie to go or sit outside to eat at one of the picnic tables they have set up. Friendly employees."
