Jim's Bait & Convenience Store

"Was in this bait/convenience store 5 times during my family's 6 day stay in the area. Spent well over $100, probably closer to $200. Each time we felt as though we were a 'bother' to the person who was working. Most often it was the woman who told us she's the owner. I expect to pay higher prices at a place like this, I get it. If it's bait or tackle you need, or any other quick sack store type of thing, they'll have what you want. If you like friendly service - go elsewhere, someplace that appreciates your business. After all, it's why they're there!"

"Love Jim’s bait store, super friendly, have pretty much everything you need ( or forgot to bring) beer selection is awesome! We are fairly new to the area and so nice to have this store so close by ! Always support local businesses!!!"

"Everything you need to open and or close a cabin. Conveniently close to your cabin, including all those cabin supplies. Such as all the little infuriating things that go wrong on a boat, missing from your tackle box cuz I don't know you forgot it. And or constantly seems to be depleted from your cooler because you and the guys are on Perpetual beer 30. I love Wisconsin, you can get pretty much everything you need in one place period in Minnesota it have to go to three different stores to get all the same stuff. This place is wonderful recently taken over in the last 4 years by a young couple with two great looking healthy teens tweens, somewhere in there. So it's a family operation with family in mind and if you have a family and you're coming up to the cabin or visiting family then you need to stop by this family's business and get your cabin supplies."

"Good quick stop if you need something...most likely Jims will have it, but you will pay for it. Biggest thing I noticed over the last 2 years is the staff is a little on the unfriendly side which is disappointing..No "thanks for stopping in" or "have a good day". Been in here a dozen or so times and its now the norm...don't expect much in terms of customer service. Since I just spent $18 on a bottle of Tabasco, a simple thank you would be nice. Update 2018. new owner is fantastic. Very friendly and has improved the shop."

"Great selection of pretty much anything you'd need for a trip to your cabins or just a quick stop for anything you might need around the house. The prices are quite high though and the gasoline isn't very good quality so that brings it down to four stars. The owners are awesome and if you show up after school hours you just might get a little helper to give you a hand!"
