"Our server was so kind and helpful! We ordered cheese curds and he brought Carmel to dip them in. He said it's weird - I know. But try it.... IT WAS SO GOOD!!! Ordered a French dip and that was delicious thick slices of incredibly tender beef, perfectly sauteed onions and cheese. Desert was a turtle pastry made in house... It was the perfect balance of of salty & sweet. You could taste the quality of ingredients - highly recommend."

"This restaurant is a classic and fun to visit. They have an amazing variety of food on offer and everything we tried was good. I was impressed that the "pearl waffles" are like the true Belgian waffles I recently had in Brussels. Had chicken and waffles and the chicken was delicious. Generous portions as well. Wish they served real maple syrup tho. I liked the look of all their baked goods up front. Great choice for brunch in Duluth!"

"Food is exceptional down home diner type food!! Service needs to be a little more attentive and paying attention. But still 4.5/5 . Really should be a bigger location. Due to how popular. The bathrooms are gross... Greasy, rusty dirty mess. Needs a deep cleaning and re-model on the bathrooms. 3/5 stars."

"The place was packed and there was a long wait but the food was worth it. The chicken and waffles was excellent. I got the Nashville style which is a little spicy. The portions were humongous. Everybody raved about their choices. The server was very attentive at keeping our coffees topped off."
