"On Mondays and Tuesdays this location offers a sushi special, and the attached photo shows about $40 worth of sushi I selected for myself. My partner ordered the tempura chicken hand roll and sweet potato roll since they don't like fish. If you know you love the filling inside I highly recommend you order a hand roll, which will be like getting a fish cone. One of my favorite things about this location is the loose leaf green tea they brew and serve in traditional tea cups. On a cold day they make for the best hand warmers. I also enjoy that they are happy to offer tamari soy sauce at request, which I find works better with my digestion than the regular soy sauce many places offer."

"Hands down the best Japanese/Sushi restaurant in Milwaukee area. They have the best Sushi and service. We were given a free desert today just randomly. Also a beautiful location it really makes it feel authentic like an actual restaurant in Japan."

"Baffled by 5 Star Reviews, Worse Japanese I have ever had. I should have read more reviews before eating here. To start, the salads were watery, the bowl was half full of liquid. My soup was flavorless, had to add soy sauce. I got Chicken Teriyaki, it came with a side of mixed vegetables from the grocery freezer aisle, like a previous reviewer mentioned. Note the variety of vegetables and wrinkled condition, like they were microwaved. Chicken was just a thin dry breast with some sticky sauce thrown on top, definitely NOT worth 19.95. My Wife's Hibachi Chicken came with a fried rice, that had a stale taste, she couldn't eat it. Staff was nice, but definitely felt ripped off. I will attach pictures."

"We had sushi and fried rice for the first time, and it was just okay. I had the chicken tempura roll and vegetable fried rice. I was a little surprised at the cuisine. The roll was okay, but the dipping sauce was good. The vegetables in my fried rice consisted of only a mix of green peas and carrots. It honestly seemed like they used a bag of TJ Farm mixed vegetables that included little diced carrots and wrinkled peas. Very weird! I’m used to vegetable fried rice including broccoli, eggs, sprouts, bok choy, onions, mushrooms, etc. The fried rice seemed like it wasn’t true fried rice. It didn’t even have that fried brown taste or look. The fried rice I’m used to is normally made with a peanut or olive oil with soy sauce. It was a little disappointing. On the flip side . . . the service was good, and the restaurant was clean."

"I love this place! The sushi lunch special is my usual. It comes with 3 full rolls, soup, and salad. They have good hibachi as well. You really can't go wrong with the lunch specials. Dining area is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. Stay away from the door side since it can be cold in the winter with people coming and going. Prices are very reasonable, the value is amazing."
