"They use to have staff here, now they are almost never open. I'm assuming because they hired kids that decide what hours they want to work. There have been times I've thought about stopping around 5pm on a Wednesday then drive passed to see pitch black store and no cars. Now it's just easier to drive down the road and go to Dollar General instead, never know when they are open anymore."

"Spent about 5-10 minutes shopping. Had a lot of stuff in cart and was also going to get some gift cards. Rang bell. Gentleman said I’ll be with you in a minute. Put everything on counter and waited. Rang bell again. Gentleman again said I’ll be with you in a minute. Checked my phone. Waited almost five minutes and rang the bell again. Gentleman again said I’ll be with you in a minute. After waiting at the checkout for 15 minutes I walked out leaving everything on the counter. As I walked out I saw the gentleman still sitting on the floor. Ridiculous service! I spent more time waiting to be checked out than actually shopping."

"This is a great store for shoppers on a budget. I tend to get some of my groceries here, and I've even purchased household products as well. It's important to note that many of their products, aside from the food stuffs, are irregulars or are made to be sold at a reduced price. What really irritates me, however, is the super high turnover rate of their staff. It's nice to get used to certain staff members, and look forward to seeing their smiling faces every visit. Unfortunately, that isn't the case with this Family Dollar. Every time I go in, perhaps twice monthly, it seems there are new people replacing the old ones. It's frustrating. Nevertheless, the products are excellent for the price, and I couldn't be happier to have this Family Dollar so close to home!"

"i was at family dollar on wednesday march 6th 2013 at about 9:30 am.. i walked in and the cashier was on the phone. while i walked through the store i noticed she stayed on the phone while waiting on customers. i was shopping for 15 or 20 min and when i walked up to the register the cashier had 2 customers before me. she was still on the phone talking about how it would be nice for the person she was on the phone with to bring her coffee because hers was cold and yucky..she was very rude to keep a personal phone call and not putting her attention on customers..where's the customer service????"
