Bob's Bitchin' BBQ

"My son and I stopped here on a Wisconsin road trip back in 2022. My son and I love BBQ and I had read online on how this place was rated one of the best BBQ places in the whole state! Had to check for ourselves. We got sat right away and the place was already busy. Had about 4 or 5 different BBQ sauces on the table. Dip into those later. Menus and drinks ordered. I ordered the beef brisket and my son, St Louis style ribs. Once the order was in, we went to tasting the sauces. I liked them all but my favorites were the Carolina and Honey Chipotle! Food arrived, looked and smelled delicious. Son and I dug in. We felt as though we were eating food meant for Gods! I swear, it was the best brisket I've ever tasted and I have never seen my son eat ribs so fast! This BBQ was on point! The sides were just as good! Mac n cheese, baked beans, corn cake, sweet potato fries and homemade coleslaw! It was so good in fact, we were tempted to order a second plate! If you are ever around Dodgeville, WI you must stop and partake of thee most amazing BBQ! It's #1 in my book and I've eaten a lot of BBQ in this state! No one beats Bob's! Sorry bout the pics! "Surprised by this place! We were in town after visiting a local attraction. Everything about this place was above average. Our server was super nice, the food was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. Will be back again!"

"For being in such a small town where all of the stores and restaurants were closed already. I was worried about this being my only choice. But I am so glad that I went here. The food was amazing and the staff were all super friendly and accommodating. The nightly special of burnt ends were definitely the right choice, along with the Mac and cheese. Highly recommend this place for a dinner if you are in the area. Their sauces were so good I bought 4 bottles too! Also it doesn't have to be said but a Wisconsin brandy old fashioned is always a staple drink."

"I was in Dodgeville for a business meeting. Bob is the Best in this town. It is my all time favourite in Dodgeville. Love the burnt ends and ribs. The burnt ends had a stronger smokey taste than the beef brisket. I wish the meat had more fats ... I ordered Dry Ribs half ribs so I could taste all of his sauces. Meat was tender enough. Sides were good! Service was excellent! The only thing I would suggest is to keep flies out of the restaurant. It was quite annoying."

"Amazing!! We drove 90 minutes to check out Bob's because we have heard so much about it. Well, it was well worth it. The food is excellent, and the sauces are unreal! The female bartender was so nice, and our food came out so quickly! There isn't anything on the menu that's not worth getting. I highly recommend taking a cruise over to Bob's!"
