"Messina is an unparalleled experience all the way from the welcoming atmosphere to the outstanding meals. I have been here only a handful of times, but every time is just as great as the last. It's clear the staff takes pride and a sense of ownership of the restaurant. Service was outstanding, and I'm still thinking about my meal from last night. I do recommend you get there before 5:30 PM or make a reservation, the tables fill up quickly."

"Wow is all I can say! We were greeted and seated by the owner who was very professional and welcoming. We had immediate service at the table by our server. We ordered Chicken Marsala, Pasta Bolognese, and Steak Maglio. All were served promptly at our table fresh and hot. Each dinner is served with a warm delicious dinner roll and fresh butter. Our meals were balanced and perfectly prepared and seasoned. Don't miss out on enjoying a wonderful meal at Messinas while visiting Saukville."

"My wife and I went to this restaurant this evening for the first time. Our experience was fabulous! The Wedding Soup was divine. The lasagna was absolutely scrumptious. The Tiramisu was the best ever. Carrie, our waitress, was friendly, polite and very professional. Carmelo, the owner, asked us about our experience, and we told him that everything was just wonderful. Carmelo informed us that his wife made the Tiramisu and that his son made the lasagna. Everything was homemade and delicious. We will definitely visit this restaurant again soon. Very highly recommended Italian Restaurant!!!"

"We really wanted to enjoy the food here since the atmosphere and wait staff were great. The prime rib was cooked well just missing au jus and salt! We always judge a good Italian restaurant by their ability to make Alfredo and this place did not hit the mark. The plate had broken sauce and the second plate just had sauce dumped on top. I was grateful for the extra sauce but could have done without the oil from the broken sauce. Might try again just because of the great service."
