"UPDATE: After posting this response Joe contacted me. He came back and finished my kitchen. However, he did not completely fix my custom lower cabinet (problem #2 below). He did add the shelf and removed the exposing metal hinge, so it does look much better.. So I will have to hire someone to correct the door issue. Overall, i love my kitchen and Joe did great work and he made changes for me which did delay his schedule. However, the outcome would have been a better experience if he communicated with me. Joe (JP Creations) started out strong 4.5 and did a very nice job in my kitchen. He made changes mid project per my request which i appreciated and glad i made the changes, which did cause extra time. Demo started December 26th, from the get go he made one cabinet too small and had to rebuild that cabinet, no problem; however it took him over a month to get another door and finally install it February 1st. He is 90% done with my kitchen, I made the mistake by paying him in full. Now I am still waiting for him to complete the project. Problem #1 top drawer below my stove top needs to be shorten due to gas line; Problem #2 lower cabinet doors are hinged together, however instead of using a non-visible hinge he put a metal hinge that is visible the whole length of the door (does not look very nice with my white cabinets). He put a hinge because he made pull out shelves which originally sound practical, however functionality is a problem. This area of my kitchen is why I hired someone to custom make my cabinets, because the original cabinet functionality was not very functional. Joe did not fix this problem and I discussed this issue with him. Problem #3 vent hoot, he made my hood around the vent, however there is no access to install the hood. He never came back out to correct this, thankfully my husband was able to finagle a way to install the hood as the appliance installers said there needs to be access. Now that the hood is installed its not a problem, however if the vent breaks or needs to be fixed, we will have to take the wood hood apart for access (No thought with construction ahead of time). I am happy with my kitchen and it turned out beautiful except for my lower cabinet doors/hinge and the missing drawer as it still needs to be shortened. I am making this review so others can be aware not to pay in full if the work is not completed. I intentionally hired a local small business and now am regretting my decision. I delayed this review to give Joe from JP Creations the time to complete my kitchen, however he has not communicated with me and has not responded to my phone call or text and I have no idea if he ever plans to complete my kitchen."

"I first hired Joe Parga, the owner of JP Creations two years ago to build us floating shelves. The previous person really tore our walls up and never returned. Joe came in and brought with him two electricians to handle the electrical work for the lights. He did a great job, the shelves look museum quality. Guests to our home always comment on how beautiful they look. When there were problems with the lights, Joe sent an electrician and he promised me that it would be fixed. Turned out the lights were faulty. Joe replaced them and they are perfect. I since hired Joe to build me some custom cabinets in my garage and to refinish a large piece of furniture. I have always been happy with his excellent work ethic, his craftmanship, his dedication and his honesty."
