Dundee Bar and Grill,

"We visited mid-week a couple times while camping at the nearby State Park. The bar is nicely decorated, with knotty pine and limestone giving it a woodsy, lodge feel. Note: they take cash or checks-- no credit cards. They do have an ATM though. The burgers are very thick and very tasty. We had the mushroom Swiss burger twice. I also tried the tenderloin (it was also a good sandwich, but if you are really, really into tenderloins drive up to the bar in St. Olafs, where they are the house specialty). Dundee Bar has daily specials, they have pizza, and have a popular fish fry on Fridays. The staff was fantastic--outgoing, friendly, and checked on us regularly. The bar was clean, has nice seating, and also has an outdoor patio. Some of the other customers looked like locals/regulars and were friendly-- the bar had a welcoming atmosphere. I'll happily return anytime we are in the area."
