"Nice outdoor sports store in Lansing, Iowa for hunting and fishing. They have a nice stock of fishing tackle as well as a good selection of firearms and associated ammunition. Prices are competitive."
"HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Mark and his staff are awesom! The store has something for everyone with great selection, the staff were knowledgeable and eager to answer every question with the friendly hometown atmosphere. Definitely more than just a bait shop!!"
"My father in law recommended mark at river and ridge when i wanted to bye a 350 legend. Staff was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and very helpful on recommendations. I was so pleased with my experience of my purchase. Mark completly set everything up so when i left we went straight to the range and had a blast. I will be doin more business with these guys. What a great bunch of guys."
"Super long review coming. Be prepared lol We rented kayaks from here a couple weeks ago and as it was our first time kayaking we chose the beginners course. I want to say we had an amazing experience when we signed releases, got our life jackets and such with the owner Mark. He was wonderful! Buuuuut..... idk if the drop off location wasn't communicated well enough between the owner and the driver or what but we were told to get out at the 3rd bridge (by the owner) and thats where our car would be but the 3rd bridge wasn't the right one. I think the driver dropped us off too far down river so we missed a bridge and we ended up going way too far down river. Thankfully we found some fishermen and they helped us figure out where our car was at and helped us get there. We are from 2 hours away so it was a little terrifying knowing we had no clue where we were. I tried calling the shop when we realized we were lost but they had closed. They don't have a voicemail, nor do they give any kind of emergencg contact for help. I hardly had any service on the river to even look up a map and was almost to the point of a panic attack. I wish they stayed open til the last people using their kayaks were off the river and safe. I know we signed liability waivers but its just plain good customer service to look out for your customers, especially those who don't know anything about the area. I don't think we will go back but I know it sparked a love for kayaking (before tgetting lost lol) in me and my boyfriend but I think we'll buy our own and go on waters we know."
