"Everything we had was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. The shrimp tempura and vegetables tempura were the best I've ever had. I even tried a sushi roll with escargot and enjoyed it. My mom enjoyed the hibachi salmon and scallops. Their hot sake is good too"

"Oxidized lettuce, way too much rice for the nigiri. The fish, particularly the tuna, had a noticeable fish smell. Yes, I know it's fish, but fresh stuff shouldn't smell. Not bad, need some refinements, and it will be better."

"Let me start by saying our waiter, Matt, was very friendly and helpful and so was the barista. They were the ONLY pleasant part of our experience. Service was incredibly slow considering there were only 3-4 tables of guests throughout our visit. After waiting about 15 minutes after ordering to get our drinks, the kobe punch just tasted like water. It was like there was a dash of red Kool-Aid powder in a glass of water. Our other drink was a Tokyo punch, but I received a Tokyo iced tea, which is similar to a Long Island iced tea. I let the waiter know I had the wrong drink and he was very nice and apologetic and went to the back to get it fixed. I heard him calmly let a man in the back know that it was wrong, and could hear the other man complaining loudly about it from our table. Then I was once again brought a Tokyo iced tea, not a Tokyo punch. The barista was very apologetic and explained that she was new. Not a big deal, mistakes happen. They gave us our drinks for free which was very nice. The food was also very mediocre and bland. We didn't get our appetizer until after we were halfway done with our entrees. I ordered a bento box, which came with 1/2 of a California roll and fried noodles. My California roll (pictured) was mostly rice, VERY skimpy on the veggies, and was not good at all. The "fried noodles" were spaghetti noodles with some kind of soy sauce based sauce (pictured). Even with the drinks being free, the bill was almost $60. We will absolutely never be returning and I won't be recommending this place to anyone else."

"This is such a gem for Sparta. I had the Hibachi New York Strip and Shrimp and it was incredible! My husband agreed and really enjoyed his salmon roll too. My son thought the spicy tuna was fine but did not care for the tankotsu ramen. My granddaughter loved the bulgogi and my other granddaughter enjoyed the chicken karaage. They were great with my mushroom allergy and they do offer gluten free. They did place noodles on my husband's gluten free plate but I'm sure this was just a kitchen error. He also wasn't sure about the sauce which is Excellent!! We'll definitely be back."
