Reviews
"Bartender/waitress was phenomenal. Menu options are totally subpar. Something ordinary you would expect at home for a quick fix meal yet they charge ridiculously for meals that take little effort to prepare. Won't be returning and will actively recommend that people don't consider. Primary issue: pricing."
"Very clean and not noisy. The food tasted like home made and was not greasy. Service was slow but very friendly. I ate at noon and it wasn't that busy. It was very nice to be able to talk to the person with me without having to yell like you do at a lot of places. Even the restroom was spotless. Very clean. I would go here again and I do recommend this restaurant. It is a little pricey. But you get what you pay for."
"Read the bad reviews but we decided to find out for ourselves. 11:30 on a Sat morning. They were definitely open and not busy at all - looked like one couple eating in a booth and there were people working. We stood at the hostess stand for a very long time. Long enough that we looked around the dining area, talked about several items on the menu that sounded pretty good. Discussed if it was a mistake coming after all bad reviews about terrible service. Looked at the menu some more until we decided what we wanted. Waited longer... No one said a single word to us, made eye contact, or acknowledged that we were there. The bad reviews for service are all well deserved. I can't imagine who runs this place where they've had bad service reported for this many years. It has to be a front for something else or owned by the hotel manager's brother-in-law or something. One silver lining, though, was that since we were downtown we were close to Red Cow, which is where we would usually go for a burger. The service there is great! We only go once a month but the servers remember us and are warm and helpful. The burgers there are so good that I never try the brunch because I don't want to miss out. Do yourself a favor and check out Red Cow or even the Tap House downtown isn't too bad."
"What was I thinking, always read the reviews first! I was walking by, it was lunchtime, and the name of the restaurant sounded appealing (burgers and brews). There's nothing terribly wrong with this place, it is just mediocre overall. Sysco food? Yes I think it probably is. Bland tables and booths? Yep. At least the service was good. I ordered the chicken breast, diced potatoes, and broccoli trying to get a healthy option. They said they were all out. So I ordered the club sandwich and it was fresh but uninspiring. Also $9 for a Surly draft beer!? Whoah. There are so many better restaurants in the area you can go to."
