"The only reason I’m giving this bridal shop 1star is because they have an amazingly broad selection of gowns. I made an appointment well ahead of time, yet when my group arrived no one greeted or acknowledged us, even though there were four employees behind the front desk, including the owner. We just started on our own. It went even more downhill from there. My consultant never asked anything about my wedding or groom or venue or colors, etc. She was awkward and seemed to have no idea how to navigate a bridal appointment. She got every bridal gown zipper stuck when taking it off of the hanger and expected me to hold the gown closed while walking out as well as standing on the pedestal because she couldn’t get it figured out. I would unfortunately not ever go back nor recommend this shop to anyone. The gown selection is great; everything else is abysmal."

"Very friendly, huge selection and helped me find the perfect dress! I had a general idea of what I liked and disliked and they helped me narrow it down to the one in one session! Actually, it was hard to decide between a couple of dresses! When the dress arrived, it fit perfect! I was wearing Da Vinci Style 50444. Unfortunately, I had to fit in this dress for two years because the pandemic postponed my original wedding date but it all worked out in the end!"

"I got my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from here. Huge selection! I like that they let you browse independently with as much or as little help as you want. Ended up buying the first dress I tried on. They were very helpful with bridesmaid dress ordering in the midst of the pandemic. I loved all the dresses!"

"I have worked at The White Rose Bridal and Formal Wear for just over a year and can honestly say I genuinely enjoy coming to work everyday. Working with our customers at such an exciting time in their lives is such a joy! For being located in the small town of St. Charles its refreshing to know that we carry such great Wedding Gown designers who offer to fully customize gowns whether changing the lace or getting the gown in blue. Before becoming an employee here I was a customer myself, throughout the last 12 years I have purchased my prom dresses as well as my own wedding gown and been in countless number of weddings. I kept my business here due to the fun inviting atmosphere and knowledgeable staff who never tried to push me into buying. Vanessa was an absolute love and very helpful. When we checked out, the owner and the other consultant upstairs, were so kind. We will definitely be back!"
