"We paid to have a hitch and 7-point controller installed. When we connected our trailer, nothing worked correctly. The staff was not very friendly or cooperative about correcting the problem, but they did install a new controller. We got about 20 miles away from home with the new controller, and found that the running lights stopped working. About another 400 miles later, none of the lights worked. It ends up that they placed the wires right up against the muffler, which caused them all to melt against the muffler. I am not an electrician, but I do know that mufflers get hot and will melt wires! We have had an agonizing trip with the electrical system not working correctly and have had to pay to have Truckin America errors fixed… even after they supposedly fixed their original mistakes."
"Truckin America has very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Diesel was very helpful and was able to get my plow up and running with a simple fix."
"Long but please read till end!! We had a topper installed on our pickup. It was over 2 months past when they told us it would be finished. Customer service on the phone was less than pleasant. I went into the business to finally drop it off to have the topper installed and sat in the waiting room waiting for my Uber to arrive. While waiting (and we’ll known I was in there), the staff took customer phone calls, were unpleasant to listen to and then after they were off the phone, they had-talked the people they were just talking to. Do they do this when I call too? I thought it was just me but turns out that’s just the toxic environment and was in shock by their responses Also found major scratches on our truck from install. Our truck isn’t new and it’s a work truck BUT that doesn’t mean you should be scratching it up and not telling us about the damage done. We didn’t even bother to go back and complain about that because we are so over it all. I would never recommend them to anyone and I will drive out of my way to the next business to have a topper installed or ANYTHING that they offer. If you made it this far in the post… click down on Google to the next company and take a hard pass on this one. I leave a ton of positive reviews for businesses that are customer focused and quality focused. This has absolutely none of that. Sorry trucking America but you deserve a 0, hope you decide to change and be better."
"I had them undercoat my 2014 F150. I asked if they drill hole to coat inside the rocker panels. The lady there said no. a few months after the under coating i see my rocker panels are rusting out. i took it back and the said it is in the pinch weld. This is where it started as they drilled a 1" hole in the bottom of each rocker panel. This allows water from the car wash and snow and salt to enter the rocker panel via the big hole they drill. They didn't even put a plastic cap over the hole. I don't recommend them as they did what they say they wouldn't do."
"I needed a cover for my pick up truck. I priced at the dealership- crazy $$$$. Decided to see what the options were here. I was surprised they had 5 different choices in soft covers. Two are made in the Dakotas. This is essential for holding up to the extreme temperatures we get in MN. A reason to NOT but the Texas made product. This store had a ton of things I didn’t need, that could have made my truck better. I was told a price $$, scheduled a day to come in and left. On the day of the appointment they were ready for me when I arrived. Got my truck back immediately and were done much quicker than I anticipated. The work was high quality and I was very pleased. Price was as quoted. It’s a no frills shop. I didn’t have much of a spot to sit. But I wasn’t there long either. I would prefer to pay less without a waiting room than have an expensive TV, coffee, and magazines to read that are of no interest to save $20 -$40. I highly recommend them for most any after additions you might need, I’m guessing they can do it or you don’t need it."
