"This is a great Par 35 ; 9 hole golf course. You will feel challenged on all greens. I have golfed Sioux Creek and find this course more challenging and much more scenic. The owners are very friendly and accommodating."

"I always enjoy playing this course. The clubhouse has cold beer (bucket specials!) and other snacks/drinks, and is a cozy place to have a beer and hang out after a round. The staff is warm and friendly. The course is always well maintained. Rates are cheap. Rental clubs are available. Simply a great way to spend a few hours, whether escaping work or enjoying your vacation. The par 4's are satisfying and have fun tee shots and approachable but challenging greens. The par 3's are fun and stress free, for the most part. Overall, the course is beautiful. Most of course is surrounded by lush, tall Northwoods forest. The course name holds true around Sunset (/Sunrise), especially as the colors of sunset reflect off the serene woods and lush green course. Throughout, there is a peaceful feeling of being in nature -- just you and the golf course -- because on-course housing has been slow to develop.
