"You can get all them fixins right down there at Northside. Anything from a snowblower that needs a tune up all the way to a boat that just don't run right. Anything in-between. If it's got a smaller engine then this is the place to go if it ever should give you any problems!"
"These guys were in the area I wanted a new motor on my wood splitter we put a new honda on it and they didnt install or adjust the throttle cable correctly it broke and would not start from day 1 bringing it home the throttle cable was never adjusted for full choke the set screw was to tight and it had a bad kill switch also 400+ pulls and 3 months later I am fixing it myself after waiting 3 months for the initial repair."
"Very polite, prompt service for replacing a part on my stihl saw, fixed it right away when I came in actually. Will come back for future repairs/ service."
"Always a great experience! We bought our used riding mower from them a number of years ago. Always return there for maintenance and repairs. Great hometown shop!!"
"The guy is an absolute taker! Her mower sat there literally all last season. She finally got it back with a several hundred dollar labor bill attached to it. Which she quietly paid and took possession of her mower. That would have been all ok and good but it never got fixed. I’m 51 and have tinkered with small engines since I was 11. Every day. So I know riding lawn mowers, chainsaws, weed whips, all that ect. My driving point is this; the mower ran intermittently that’s why it was in his shop. The mower hadn’t moved more than 5280 feet before it started running intermittently again. I’m not kidding. I’ve diagnosed the problem and as I went thru there was absolutely zero evedidence that him or his crew had even put a wrench on it. Ok. I got this I says. One day recently I stopped by his shop and carried in a random piece of power equipment. I explained to him three times that I need the part so I can install it myself as I am a hobbiest. He really leaned hard on me to leave it there. Finesse. He got some good reviews on this blog which I don’t believe are legit. He is not an honest man by any means. Family member most likely has too much to worry about let alone a court case but ya never know how things will turn out because this guy needs to be publicly called out. And well run across each other somewhere random and the time will be right. Taking advantage of widowed women, children, and mechanically ignorant people is not ok with me. North side power repair, enjoy your food!"
