"First off the store is filthy! Merchandise strewn everywhere! The store must be under staffed or something. Now yesterday I was there & when I got home I looked at my receipt & saw that I was charged twice for an item, today I went with receipt in hand & was told there was nothing they could do, I have to wait until tomorrow (Mon) for the manager because they have to look at the video to see if I only bought one or if I bought two of the item. I asked well how late does she work? they tell me 3:00pm. Guess what time I get off of work in Maple Grove? You guessed it, 3:00pm!! Are you kidding me?? The security guard who sits on or at a table in the front of the store never ever moves, just stares at his phone actually stood up & stared at me as I loudly asked are you kidding me? I will never shop here again!! He didn't do anything but stare at me as I walked towards the door, as I got closer he looked back down at his phone!! I could have made a huge scene & yelled & threw things & I doubt very much that he would have attempted to stop me & or escort me out. I have never had such a horrible experience shopping! They have just lost a long time customer!!"

"Wow! What a shamble of a place. Merchandise on the floor everywhere. Looks like items are just set on the floor during the stocking process. I don't think anyone spends the time to pick up a single thing off the floor. Used to be a fun store for the hunt. Now just dirty, gross, and stuff everywhere."

"Did you ever watch "Hoarders" and wonder what it would be like to visit? That's Burlington Coat Factory Maplewood - messy, chaotic, and looks like a hoarder house. If you can get through the store there are great prices on name brand items. The messy and unsafe store makes shopping difficult. The reviews stating the store looks like a riot and a tornado blew through is 100% accurate. The store is so messy that it's not safe. The store would not pass a fire code inspection. Many aisles you cannot walk through due to clutter and merchandise spilling off the shelf and onto the floor. Some of the piles on the floor are 3+ feet high. Trash can outside store over full with trash, garbage is blowing all over the sidewalk and parking lot. The bathroom smelled so bad, I didn't dare walk in. When I visited, a theft alarm was loudly beeping on a coat. You could hear the alarm from the front of the store. The employees did nothing to help. I could see customers were upset by the noise, many covering their ears. I located the coat near the back of the store and personally walked it to the front of the store and gave to security to deal with. Didn't get a thank-you for doing their job. Do NOT visit this story if you are visually impaired or have a disability that affects your balance or ability to walk!!! Anyone using a walker, wheelchair or cane would not be safe in this store due to excessive clutter, stuff falling off the shelves, blocked walkways and stuff on the floor poses a trip/fall hazard. Also keep your children close to you for their safety. The toy section is one of the worst areas. The only employees I saw in the store were cashiers and a security guard blasting music on his cell phone, located at the front of the store. It looks like employees abandoned the rest of the store. This store needs help asap!!! If you want to shop Burlington - drive to Roseville or Oakdale/Woodbury instead."
