Solmar Learning Center (SLC)

Solmar Learning Center (SLC) is a comprehensive institution located at 199 Shotwell Street, San Francisco, California, United States. Our services cater to children from birth to six years old, offering early care and education, early intervention, and inclusion programs. Additionally, we provide mental health services for youth, wrap-around family support, workforce development, and social services to all enrolled families.

At SLC, we focus on facilitating opportunities for at-risk populations, including low-income individuals and families, people living with disabilities, and the Deaf community. We collaborate with local agencies and officials to provide rapid response, community-driven engagement, service linkage, and relationship-building assistance to under-served communities, particularly those who are insecurely housed.

Our Senior Division specializes in mental health, workforce development, and community engagement for older adults, ensuring they can flourish in their communities with dignity and security. We offer innovative programs such as re(MIND)®, BEAM, and BEAM UP® for early diagnosis and treatment of psychosis and bipolar disorder in adolescents and young adults.

Felton Institute, the parent organization of SLC, is committed to transforming lives through evidence-based social services and treatments. Our headquarters in San Francisco and East Bay provide a range of services for children, youth, families, adults, justice-involved individuals, and seniors. We also offer training, research, and evaluation services to agencies in California and beyond.
