"Old school hippy coffee shop with amazing pastries; small & cozy with shared tables, crowded on weekends. Mini pizzas, danishes, lasagnas, savory scones, Cuban stew…If they run out of what you wanted by the time you order, try something different because that will become your favorite thing. Good place to meet up with your vegan or gluten free friends. The long line moves quickly. No off street parking but has a bike rack in front. Their bread pudding and cinnamon rolls are meant to be shared with a friend or taken on a long hike so they can be enjoyed sitting under a shady oak contemplating your life’s purpose."

"We love their pastries-danish, croissants (chocolate, almond & plain), any kind of cake. Very reasonable price! Love the causal atmosphere & everyone welcome atmosphere. Coffee drinks are great as well as their fabulous baguette when available."

"Beats Starbucks by a huge mile. It's not just the coffee that is good and reasonably priced, but the food is also quite excellent. The croissants are freshly baked, some of the best I've had in the US. Also tried the pesto pizza with goat cheese, and it did not disappoint."

"Everything about this place is delicious!!! We all enjoyed our food, the atmosphere is so welcoming, there's local art, and the music--bringing back old school, Too Short, 8Ball & MJG, DMX, Biggie, Tevin Campbell...I will be back next time I'm around for lunch. I tried the pizza, compliments to the chef... rosemary, potato with caramelized onions and bacon. It was perfect. My friends enjoyed the gigantic sandwich, the cold pasta salad elote style, a scone and the quiche! If you are in the area, or not...go check it out, the service was amazing as well."

"A great cup of drip coffee for such a neighborhood friendly price! What made this cafe so cool for me was that it was the customers that were creating the vibe of the place, sort of reflecting the neighborhood culture, blending all good things about this neighborhood into this one small cafe. They have many bakery options and their coffee cake was delicious."
