Reviews of Beit Rima
"Beit Rima is now my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in San Francisco. The food portion is big but it is no way compromising the quality of the food. The mezze platter is an example. Each dip is so thick and flavor packed that you can't wipe them all out that easily. Another great dish is the fried potato. Again, big portion yet the flavor and crispiness is all over the dish. The chicken kebab is amazing too. I would love to come back again for sure!"
"This place has been on my list for a very long time and finally got an opportunity to check it out! Ordered the chicken shish tawook plate with a side of Falafel and the house famous bread topped with zaatar. The hummus and the yogurt dip were good. The falafel was hot and crispy and was dusted with sumac. The chicken was well cooked but lacked a tad bit of seasoning. As this was a Mediterranean place, saffron rice / traditional yellow rice, if offered would have been better substitute compared to the plain white rice that was served. The bread was soft buttery and fluffy . The zaatar tasted well with the bread. Compared to other Mediterranean places in the city, personally I felt this was little pricey for the food, ambience and service."
"There is a really long wait, but wow the food was incredible. The food is prepared Family style, and I shared the dishes with three other people, so four people in total and we had this West Bank beer. Just come please. It’s impossible to describe the food because it’s so good. Strongly recommend the lamb, shakshouka, and hummus (or the sampler platter). The chicken was a bit bland but the overall experience was unaffected. The hand kneaded bread was great."
