Village Inn 4848 East Viking Boulevard, Wyoming, MN 55092

"I visited the Wyoming Village Inn a couple of days ago on the recommendation of two of my good work clients. I hadn't eaten at the VI in quite awhile, so I was happily surprised to see that it hadn't changed a bit since the last time I visited. The location is convenient just off of I-35 at the Wyoming exit, and has a large parking lot surrounding the restaurant. Once inside, you have the feeling you just entered a 1950's era pancake/malt shop/diner; The ambiance is warm, inviting and comforting to the MAX! Large booths, lots of windows, and an old-fashioned display of fresh pies greets you as you enter. The restaurant was nearly full on the day I visited, with seemingly many "locals" and "regulars" to the VI. The menu is enormous, with lots of "feel good" breakfasts, including various pancakes, etc (see my photos of the menu). Prices are very reasonable, and the portion size is ENORMOUS (how can anyone finish all this food in one sitting??!). I sampled one of the skillet lunches topped by 2 eggs, and complete with three large pancakes, crispy bacon and sausages. Wow, talk about food coma time! It was all freshly prepared, hot and FILLING. The staff here are FANTASTIC, FUN, and HELPFUL with my order. I felt like I was in an old-fashioned diner, with the waitress rapidly scribbling my order on an small order notepad. My waitress, Kristin, was AMAZING. Staff and service overall was great. If you want to eat eat eat home-made comfort food galore, Village Inn is the place to do it. I'm serious, how can anyone eat all of one of those skillet lunches in one seating??!!! I'm talkin' FOOD COMA."

"Pot roast dinner and chicken fried steak dinner hit the spot. Tender roast and perfect mashed potatoes with gravy. Coleslaw had the perfect level of tang. Favorite place for homemade quality food."
