"Ordered the Caesar salad, thin crust pizza and rigatoni with red sauce. Salad was good, but nothing spectacular (hard for a salad to be spectacular to be fair). Pizza came out and waiter said rigatoni would be a few more minutes as they had to wait for a skillet to be cleaned. I lived in Italy for a couple of years and this pizza took me back. Tastes exactly like what you’d get in Italy. My only gripe is that it’s so pricey for such a small pie. Over 10 min after our pizza came out, the waiter (who was very nice) said the pasta would be another 5 min. At this point I just asked him to cancel the order as we had already been waiting to eat the rest of the pizza, which was now getting cold. He looked surprised, but who wants to wait 15-20 min after main dishes are served for a small pasta dish to be brought out? Wait staff was nice, but hard to feel like you’re not in a grocery store pizza place. Seating is very limited and restaurant is very bright (like a grocery store). Disappointed that they couldn’t serve all the food together in a timely manner. For the price, we won’t be trying again. There are other Neapolitan pizza places that just do it better."

"Amazing pizza. Hot, fresh, and delicious. Friendly staff. Definitely a place to stop by whether you're by yourself or it's super popular with family and groups, get several pizzas and salad for the table. Popular for kids to stop by with parents after games. They have this fun dough for kids to play with at the table. They have lots of good pizza options, either traditional or more elaborate."

"$18 for overpriced trash! I ordered their rigatoni and it was literally just noodles with watery red sauce. They didn't even bother to throw any cheese on it! I could have made better pasta at home with just a jar of store bought sauce! Don't spend your money here, they can't even get basic pasta dishes right."

"We enjoyed this place very much! We came here on a Friday night, somewhat close to their closing time, but we never felt rushed to get out as soon as possible, which is appreciated. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The food we had was quite good. We tried the roasted red pepper and artichoke dip (which came with a generous amount of bread), the quattro formaggi pasta (the sauce was amazing!), and the tedesca pizza. The pizza tasted great, but if I had to nitpick, it’s a bit pricey for the size. However, I’d much rather have a smaller, better quality pizza like this one, than a bigger pizza from some of the main pizza chains for the same price. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this place to others."

"I really wanted to like this place, but the experience I had here was extremely disappointing. TL;DR: Good servers, nice atmosphere. An undercooked, barely any topping, TOO much Sauce, Deep Dish Pizza. I attempted to fix it twice, including speaking to the manager. Manager ignored the issues, & also handled the interaction poorly. My stomach is still reeling, & I'm pretty sure that I got food poisoning from here. Full story - Found this place had some very positive reviews & Chicago Deep Dish. The Server/host were very friendly (They get 4 stars) Ordered the Wrigley. Everything was going pretty well... ...until the food came. I was expecting a 45 minute wait, but I think it came in about 28-30 min. The server (wisely) said that I should let it sit for a while, since it was right out of the oven. After letting it sit, I lifted the slice out of the pan. Immediately, I saw a pool of water/juice collecting in the area where I had taken a slice. There was no cheese pull, instead, just gloopy tomatoes I'm not a novice when it comes to Chicago Deep Dish. You expect to have a little bit more sauce, but not this much. Instead of a flaky, buttery crust, the bite was a soggy, clumsy, pile of pizza. The water from the sauce had leaked into the crust itself. (this shouldn't happen) To be fair ---- It tasted pretty good, but proportions were all wrong. It was WAY too much sauce, & nothing like you'd get at a Chicago Deep Dish places. I scrapped about 1/2 of the tomato sauce off, & then the server came over. "How's the first bite?" - Server "I don't think it's done? It's really soggy. You see the pool of water here? (Points to the pan, oozing with tomato water) She apologizes & says she can throw it back into the oven for a little while. (Again, server was great) After getting the pizza back, I scrapped the sauce off & saw the toppings... There was barely any toppings on the pizza. On one slice, I only found 2 slices of pepperoni, 3 tiny bits of sausage, & a thin film of an onion. In addition, there was barely a layer of cheese on the pizza! (When others make these pizzas, they put a SIGNIFICANT amount of cheese/toppings to make a barrier that sauce cannot get through. This is why Chicago Deep Dish usually has a great cheese pull/lots of toppings) I flag the manager down. Me - "I've eaten a lot of deep dish, like some places in Chicago... there's WAY too much sauce here" "Oh really? I guess that's just the way it comes. Some people ask for EXTRA sauce when they order it." "Yeah, but the proportions are wrong, there's not enough cheese here." "Oh, no, there's lots of cheese on it, we use 16 ounces of cheese." I point to the pan, dripping with tomato water. "Well I mean, look, it's soggy, there's water in the pan." He reinforces that they use a lot of ingredients, restating quantities, even though there is evidence to the contrary in front of him. It's clear he was unwilling to address the issue. We go back and forth for a minute. I say, "Alright, well, I just wanted to tell you." Then he smacked me lightly on the shoulder, "We just want you to be happy." You should never touch a customer, especially when they're clearly unhappy with their food. This is basic managerial training. Honestly, I should have pushed harder to address the issue, but I've always been taught to be polite. I was pretty livid at being ignored. I quietly scrapped off all the excess sauce, had another slice (since I was still hungry) boxed up the leftovers, paid, and left. The pics show the pizza & result. It was so soggy that it left dimpling in bottom of the thick cardboard box (3rd Pic). Everyone can have a bad day. But, a fumbled managerial interaction with a disappointed customer, & poor cooking makes it so this place should be steered clear of, until they get their house in order. Also, the pizza was $33. Also, I think that since it didn't get cooked for 45 minutes, that I might have food poisoning. I've felt awful since my meal there. I want to say more, but there is a character limit. Very disappointed..."
