Wonder-Land Christian Preschool
About the Business
Wonder-Land Christian Preschool, located at 3300 Walnut Avenue in Carmichael, California, is a school that provides safe, nurturing care in a Christian environment. As a ministry of American River Community Church, we have been offering quality Christian early education for over 50 years. In the near future, we will be changing our name to American River Christian Preschool and Daycare to better reflect our connection to the church.
Our institution was founded with the goal of assisting two-income families in need of Christian care for their children, and we continue to meet that need today. We are grateful to our founder, Elsie Hall, and her daughter, Nancy, for their vision. As we prepare to make changes such as accepting 18-month-olds, expanding our hours, and implementing a tiered pricing system, we are excited for the future of Wonder-Land Christian Preschool.
With a long history of providing excellent care, we are proud to be a trusted choice for families in the Carmichael area. Many of our former students now have their own children or grandchildren in our care, showcasing the multigenerational impact of our ministry. Choose Wonder-Land Christian Preschool for a nurturing, Christian environment for your little ones.

"This is the best preschool and daycare. The staff is so loving. This was the best decision i could make for my children to have these wonderful people watch and teach my girls. It's not just a daycare. They treat you like family. I'm so grateful for all they've helped me and my girls with."
"I cannot speak to the care they provide children in their charge, however I can speak to the way they drive their vans while picking up or dropping off children. I walk my daughter to and from kindergarten every day. Yesterday while walking home we were waiting at a four light intersection for a light to turn green (and the "walking man" to show us it is safe to cross), when the light we needed changed I luckily looked to my left to see a van speedily turning right onto the adjacent street. They should have yielded to any pedestrians, they did not. They should have been extra careful considering they had just picked up small children from a school were there were lots of small children walking with parents to their cars and homes, they were not. To add fire to the flame, I am familiar with these vans as I have seen them around town. So I looked up the name and called the facility and was told first that it couldn't have been one of their vans because they were both at the facility just then, and a moment later told that a van WAS out but that it wasn't at the school I was at. They have no training or requirements for the people they allow to drive their vans. I would not let my kids ride with them, and I certainly urge anyone to consider that risk wisely."
