"I ordered the walleye (I've had their cod also) and anytime I've ordered fish, it has been dripping in grease. I put it on napkins to absorb some of it but, tho it tastes good, it gives me a stomach ache and the same for the person I had dinner with, and I spend the rest of the evening in the bathroom. I don't know if you need to use a different oil or cook it hotter but it isn't very healthy. I don't eat a meal at Culver's very often because of this issue, and I won't be going back again for quite a while. But the frozen custard is great."
"Drive through service is terrible if you have more than 2 meals. My father is on his way back again for the 2nd time in 2 weeks because they again forgot something. And they fill the bags in such a way that nothing is together unless it's a fish dinner and even that they managed to screw up- putting separate sides in with the fish that didn't go with it. If you use the drive thru check your food!"
"I had grilled chicken sandwich. Would've liked mayo on it but now I know for next time. Hubby had Atlantic cod sandwich meal. His was delicious as well. After we ate we went back for ice cream. Really good. A waffle cone for him and a cup for me...and it cost less then dq!!"
"I purchased Culvers Chicken "Tenders" yesterday for the first time. I would describe them more accurately as Chicken CARDBOARD. I can't believe I spent $7.65 on 4 small, thin dried up bits of what Culvers calls chicken tenders! They were hard, dry, no flavor, thin and almost as much breading as chicken. Almost $8 for 4 of these, the other 2 I washed down with milk last night were sized between the 2 pictured. The price I paid did not include a drink or fries with these tenders. Huge disappointment! Do not waste your money, there is a much better chicken tender franchises that I would consider worth the drive before ever buying these again. It looks like the neighbors dogs are getting a treat later. I took pictures but don't see an option to add them. Pieces were 4.5 to 3 inches in length. When cut in half at the thickest point measuring a half an inch thick with one quarter of an inch of that being actual chicken."
"Good service and atmosphere. Food was good. But their prices have gone up quite a bit. This is a $19 order. A double deluxe bacon combo and 2 scoop vanilla custard with strawberry topping. Good. But not $19 good. Can go to a sit down restaurant and get twice the burger and fries for less. Can go to raising cane's and get twice the food for $19. Just kind of surprised it's gotten that expensive since I was last there a few months ago"
