Dollar General

"Was very excited to check out this Dollar General Marketplace on New Year's Day. Wanted to pick up a head of lettuce, some sliced cheese for sandwiches, some Barbasol, and some body spray. Walked in and was seriously disappointed. Half of the store is empty and your produce section and coolers are mostly empty. I ended up only getting half of the items I needed. Why have a grand opening with the store half empty? Not a very good first impression on your business and a disappointing grand opening! They did at least have two friendly helpful staff working. I look forward to what this store will become and will check back in the future. Hopefully you'll have your act together next time we visit and will have the produce section and coolers stocked."

"Nice variety but 2 of the 3 times we have been there, they are taking cash only because their internet is down. Lots of people in line because most of the self checkouts weren't working. Didn't have cash or time to go to an ATM so we just left. I know internet service can be bad in the area. Hopefully they find a solution because it is a nice store."

"I get staffing is hard right now and they may have to close early. They had a sign that said closing at 5 today, which is fine, but I got there at 4:25 after work and the door was already locked."

"With the excitement of having a Dollar General open up in an area where there is not many stores , we have come to find out that each time we have tried to visit this location, The hours that are on the website are not the hours they are open. We visited New Year's Eve day four different times throughout the day, and they never opened. understanding a lot of places are having a hard time finding people to work. It would be nice to at least have a sign on the door letting customers know that nobody will be there all day. Hoping someday soon the store will be open daily. ."
