"At BLC you see and hear the words "all are welcome" a lot. It is not just a cute slogan it is a reality. For me, with this congregation and our wonderful pastors, I feel I get better reception to the message of Christ than most places."

"A light and bright church -- in spirit, style and atmosphere. The people are friendly and welcoming in the best possible way, genuine and easy going. Worship style is liturgical but not stodgy. The teaching is an excellent blend of biblical (without being lost in the minutiae), accessible, challenging and socially current. Our kids are grown up but the children's/youth programs seem well attended and energetic. A very happy find for us."

"We have a mixed race family & many kids. Each went through Sunday school. Ate good food, had great fellowship. Lutherans drink COFFEE!! Very welcoming of all people. May take awhile for some to warm up, but each person is accepted. Good short sermons & a little singing No admonishing, just support."
