"Montessori Preschool holds a special place in our hearts, and we can't say enough good things about it. The staff is genuinely invested in the success and well-being of each child. They create an environment that feels like a second home, where our kids felt safe, nurtured, and encouraged to explore and learn. Our boys made huge strides at Montessori, both academically and to a world beyond textbooks. They learned practical life skills, gained independence, and developed a love for learning and exploring. One of the most significant advantages of Montessori was how well it prepared our boys for kindergarten. It's not just about being academically ready; it's also about being socially and emotionally prepared. The Montessori approach fosters a sense of responsibility, empathy, and collaboration that has been invaluable as they transitioned to the next stage of their education journey. "I am so happy I found MSSM. My son started in 2021 when he was about 3.5 years old and is now moving on to kindergarten. I am confident he has the skills and knowledge to excel in kindergarten, and it’s all thanks to MSSM. He has thrived, and learned so much while in Ms. Tasha’s class. He has also expressed his love for the school, his class, his friends, and his teachers. We are so very thankful, and will miss seeing everyone everyday. We also plan on enrolling our daughter to MSSM when the time comes."

"Montessori of San Marcos is an amazing school. Our son has been enrolled since October 2022 in advance of starting Kindergarten this year. He's thrived in the Montessori learning environment with Ms. Lucy and Ms. Esther as his teachers. They are fabulous, as is Ms. Tilly, the school director. He's learned all of his letter sounds and is already able to spell out some words by sounding them out, what a beautiful transition. He surprises me daily as his new skills bubble out at random, adding numbers together, singing songs in Spanish and telling me fun facts he learned about the Earth are just a few to mention. He is stimulated and engaged at his level and loves to be at Montessori. We are so greatful to have discovered Montessori of San Marcos and most certainly recommend it to any other parents that are looking to give their children a great start!"

"I was so thrilled to have found MSSM for my 4 year old back in 2021. Having kept him home from his previous preschool during the pandemic, Ms. Tilly and her staff addressed and handled all of my concerns in bringing him back to a school setting. My son's former preschool was not Montessori based, and while I wasn't intentional in placing him in this style of education, as fate had it, it was exactly the type of environment that he needed. The methodology is well grasped and implemented by each instructor. Under the care of Ms. Tasha, Ms. Esther, and Ms. Lita, my son grew leaps and bounds under their care/instruction. I was so impressed with his development that I actually chose to keep him there instead of sending him to TK which he qualified for when he turned 5. Not only did his academic skills flourish, his confidence was soaring by the time he left (we had a relocation at the beginning of 2023 and sadly had to leave). I'm confident in being able to give most of the credit to this school as they make an effort to bond with your child and your family, forming an interwoven support system for your child where they feel prepared to grow their brains! One other thing that always stood out to me about this school is that upon entering at drop-off or pick-up, rarely did you hear anything other than happy playing children. Additionally, I was always greeted with a smile and always felt welcomed. Ms. Tilly and her staff are highly responsive and I have nothing but respect and thanks for them for providing a safe and well-rounded space for my child to thrive."

"Working here out of 3 different centers before and over 17 years of experience, this preschool is by far the best experience I have ever had. The staff, the owner/director, the help in general, and the parents is by far the best I have ever experienced or known. I have worked at 3 other local San Marcos preschools and or childcare and this is the best place to work. I'd bring my own child here If they were of age!"
