"I've always ordered via Doordash so I'm not sure about the atmosphere, but...the fish is delicious! I've ordered from here several times and have never been disappointed. We normally order the Catfish/Swai meal with two sides-the fish is always moist and the batter/seasoning is perfection. It's never dry. overly oily, or flavorless...it's always amazing. We've tried the cornbread, hush puppies, mac and cheese and potato salad-all yummy and they're always great about sending a lot of condiments. My dad and I are pretty picky about our fish since he used to catch a lot of Catfish and prepare it at home, but 2nd Chance has it down! Love it! :)"

"GREAT EXPERIENCE! FRESH FOOD! I finally had an opportunity to try the soul food restaurant " 2nd Chance Soul Food Fish Fry," located in Inglewood,CA. I actually heard of this restaurant through "LA Infatuation an Online Restaurant/Events Magazine," I subscribe to and decided to check it out. I was not disappointed! The food served was very fresh, lightly seasoned and true to the slogan " Where The Food Is Great and The Plates Are On Swole!" The serving sizes were definitely swole and heaping. I ordered two meals to try out the cooking - Catfish Filet Lunch w/ Homemade Mac & Cheese, Cornbread and I order Collard Greens. Everything was delicious and fresh; as well the Collard Greens were seasoned well. My other order was Chicken Wings which were cooked perfectly and moist inside. All items ordered are made to order, which mean fresh and hot food to go. I would most certainly recommend this restaurant to all; especially with it being a " Black-Owned," restaurant which I mostly certainly support. Additionally, I enjoyed reading about the orgins of the restaurant, hence the name " 2nd Chances." The location offers plenty of parking, so when you have a moment, are traveling in the Inglewood community or just want to enjoy some fresh soulfood stop by there and order; the staff is very friendly! I will most certainly return; I have to try the Red Velvet Cake for sure!"
