"Good experience overall. There was one guy working the whole front of house. Host bartender wait staff and bussing. That being said service was slow but good. The guy was running his butt off. Food was good and came out at a good temperature. We were given a discount for how busy it was. Neat atmosphere"

"I have been enjoying Burrito Union since my time in school at UMD. We were in town for a weekend trip and decided to stop by for old times sake. The atmosphere is local and hip, just as I recalled. We ordered the chips and corn salsa, the chips came warm and fresh. We also got the imperial chicken burrito which was very good. Lastly we had the carnitas quesadilla - this was the best thing by far! The roasted tomatillo salsa has some delicious heat to add even more flavor. Stop in for a Fitgers beer, delicious food, and a chill vibe."

"I was pleasantly surprised on how terrible the food was here. Based on the ratings I thought we were in for a treat. Little did I know I know I was taking my family to a land of disappointment. I had a burrito covered in red sauce, my children had the kids burrito and nachos meals. I will start by saying I thought it was impossible for Mexican food to be without flavor. Burrito union proved me wrong. The chips we ordered were soggy and stale. The salsa's were lacking in the flavor department as well and everything we ate was cold in the middle or cold on arrival. I should have known this would be the case as I saw every patron heading straight to the bar. However, our waitress was wonderful. I wanted to complain but lacked the energy to do so after a 2 hour drive from the twincities. If Duluth has a Chipotle run for that spot instead."

"Food is delicious! We had Empire Builder burritos with deep-fried avocado as an appetizer. Beverage also very good...white sangria. Wait staff were very pleasant and service was quick. Nice atmosphere as well."
