Reviews of Johnny’s
"There were 3 other people in here seated at the bar and already served. The waiter gave me menus, brought me a coffee, walked away, and did not ever return. 35 minutes later, I paid for my coffee and left without having breakfast."
"Exactly what I wanted and needed on a late morning weekday. I was hoping for someplace cozy and friendly and not as loud as the chain breakfast joints and that's what I found. Portions are large you definitely get your money's worth. I got the corned beef hash and it was delicious. I never had to ask for anything it was like they read my mind. Overall very happy with my experience. This place is getting saved into my go to list when I'm in the area."
"We had a large party for breakfast the day after Thanksgiving and were seated upstairs. The servers we friendly and attentive. I liked that they had carafes of coffee for the table so we didn't have to keep having the servers come upstairs. I had the corned beef hash, which was pretty good, but the potatoes were awesome. Lots of crispy pieces mixed in with the diced onions and peppers. Will definitely go again."
"The first time I came into Johnny’s, I was looking to grab a beer and a burger. But they only had a burger. Now they have a beer and wine license. Now they have a solid burger and solid collection of beer on tap (Stella, 805, Lagunitas, pacifico, to name a few), wine (cabernet, merlot, chardonnay) excellent 4.5 out of five rating for the burgers and fries. The possibilities are impressive TV screens easily can pull up a sports event from 12 to 2:30 PM. Spend an hour or so with your friends. Have a beer. Have a have a burger. Comfortable if you solo, like me. I likely will invite friends next. There is parking on El Camino, in the back, and on side streets. Great low-key, good value, excellent food place to check out! FYI, I sat at the bar area with great service, and the cheese burger and fries were as good as the first time!"
"Ordered blueberry pancakes full stack. Big portions with plenty of blueberries. You will be stuffed. Came with a blueberry sauce on the side which I didn't use. I paired it with coffee and it was fantastic. Would eat here again."
