Reviews of Philippe The Original
"Best pastrami I’ve ever had! Very fresh and everything tastes great. Macaroni salad is very tasty. Must get “double dipped”! Lemonade is the perfect beverage 10/10 recommend"
"We had dinner here and really liked it. We shared two French dips: pastrami and beef. For the first one we picked Swiss cheese and the au jus on the side, and it was great (we specially liked not getting soggy bread). For the beef one we chose blue cheese (absolutely delicious) and for the roll to be double dipped, which we found a bit too much. Both meats were fantastic and each of us had a different favourite, so it depends on personal taste. As sides we ordered potato salad and macaroni salad, and again both options were pretty good. Finally we also got some sweet pickles, which really surprised us (one of the best ones we have ever had). If we lived here we would be back for sure."
"It had been a long time since the first time my husband took me here to eat. This time around the food tastes so delicious. The atmosphere and vibe was on point. They are busy like always. If you're nearby or in the area or come as a tourist, this is a great place to stop by and grab a bite. Plus it's epic and a landmark on its own. Show them some love and support."
"Cool spot. It's usually always packed specially for lunch! People are nice sometimes in a rush, but that's because there's so many people! It used to be cash only when I went long time ago. I was able to order for pick up. It was easy AF! You won't have to wait in line...so yeah! They have a little spot inside that also sells candy for the one's with a sweet tooth! Go and enjoy and dip your Sammie!"
