"Tried their white rum as I live down the street from them and was suggested by a lady at store that stocked them, by far the worst rum I have ever drank. Disgusting smells of a tequila mixed with a strong agricole, salt flavor upfront to a burnt caramel-esque, which burns into a rotting papaya that lasts for about ten seconds to a long lasting horrid finish all with a rubbing alcohol or ethanol riding with it."

"Enjoyed an amazing tour and experience at Calwise. Beautiful distillery and naturally sourced ingredients made for some delicious spirits. Really enjoyed the tour from the owner showcasing and smelling individual components and ingredients before trying a small taste of the spirit. Very impressed by the spiced rum, and walked away with a few bottles. Also impressive is Calwise has licensing to serve cocktails and food along with the production facility. Their American Mule is a must-try, and their small plates were delicious. Will definitely be back!"
