"I had the great misfortune of taking my car to Pacific Upholstery shop on Pacific Ave in San Pedro to replace the carpet & side panels. I should have left immediately as I experienced problems from the start: difficulty speaking English, dishonesty (repeatedly refusing to give me a written receipt for my $850.00 cash in advance payment). The flakiness, unprofessionalism and procrastination demonstrated by Rocio was inconceivable. It has been almost 2 months and my car is still not finished!!! There is absolutely no accountability at this shop. I call 3 to 4 times a week. All Ricio can say is "Manana, Manana" (tomorrow, tommorow). I am exasperated. My next stop is reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for unscrupulous business practices. As a consumer, I have a right to respect, integrity and FOLLOW THROUGH!!! I presume I'll have to cut my losses and go elsewhere to finish the job. Please learn from my mistake and DO NOT GO TO PACIFIC UPHOLSTERY!!! Proceed at your own peril ! Susan T."
