"I came into this store accompanied by my boyfriend and our child. When we got there, nobody was in the store. A moment later a gentleman walked in with his morning Starbucks and a food item. Which he proceeded to eat as he showed us beds. Fine. I initiated everything, i told him our price range, i asked him the questions, i told him what I was looking for. On the back end, i made the final decision to get the bed, a came up with the finances, i measured our room three times and drew a diagram to confirm it would fit and I chose the size. The bed was my project, but the salesman was clearly a guys guy. He talked mainly to my boyfriend who was busy chasing our toddler around. When I sat down at the desk to complete the sale i inquired about the Tempur-pedic bed and he continued to direct his information and attention to my boyfriend. When I had finally had enough, i got up and grabbed our child from my boyfriend a couple beds away and walked out. I felt extremely insulted by this because we are in different times and you can’t treat women like that. The only nice thing is the warehouse agreed to do same day delivery. They took the old bed and put the new bed in place."
