To add insult to injury, the mattress emitted a pungent chemical smell that permeated my bedroom, transforming my sanctuary into a noxious chamber. Reaching out to their customer service only compounded my frustration. The staff seemed to operate on a script designed to deflect and defer, never directly addressing my concerns. Requests for a straightforward return and refund process turned into a Kafkaesque ordeal, with each representative passing me on to the next like a hot potato. Their demeanor oscillated between thinly-veiled annoyance and outright dismissiveness. As the days turned into weeks, my resolve waned, and it became increasingly evident that OC Mattress was more interested in preserving their bottom line than ensuring customer satisfaction. The final blow in this saga was the realization that a refund was a mere fantasy. Despite assurances to the contrary, the money I had spent seemed to have vanished into the ether of OC Mattress’s coffers. The lack of accountability and transparency was astounding. In conclusion, OC Mattress in Costa Mesa not only failed to deliver a quality product but also displayed a flagrant disregard for ethical business practices. This experience has been an exhausting lesson in buyer beware, and I can only hope that this review prevents others from enduring a similar ordeal."

"Great selection and Mario our sales person was friendly, informative and low pressure. He was focused on getting us the right bed, not just closing a sale. This is our 3rd purchase from OC Mattress and they are as always great to work with and don't have cheesy gimmicks, like so many other Mattress and furniture stores."

"My wife and I bought a mattress 3-4 years ago. It wasn't cheap...for the last 6 months I've had the worst back pain. I called, told them I have visible sinking areas in my mattress (weight is 170lbs) and asked about the ten year warranty I was told about when we bought it. They send somebody out, all a gimmick, two days later warranty claim is denied. Unfortunately this company lost my trust and consequently my business."

Of course, he was nice enough to wait until we got out of the car and walk up to the door, before he quickly said, "we're CLOSED" and closes the doors. Ended up going to Mattress Firm down the street. We were taken care of there."

"We went in not knowing left from right of mattresses. Jessy was quick with acknowledging we were there while he had another client. He spent some time educating us about different mattresses for neck and back support. I came out knowing which type of mattress I'll be getting - Tempurpedic. The great thing is that he shared they do shipping with that company to our home that'll be in Texas! He was eager to get us the best deal and was overall a great guy! We will be searching to buy from him once our home is ready for it!!! Great people at this business."
