"I purchased an 11’ market umbrella from PolyTEAK in July, 2022. The umbrella was used for less than three months that summer before it was taken down and put into storage for the winter. In June, 2023, the umbrella was taken back out of storage for use this season and I noticed that the button for the tilting activation, as well as other components for the tilting mechanism, had fallen out and were missing. The umbrella was still under warranty, so I contacted PolyTEAK customer service in an attempt to resolve the issue. I provided requested documentation, photographs, etc. There was clearly something wrong with the umbrella, which they admitted to, and I was concerned that it could accidentally tilt on its own and injure someone. I wanted them to either give me a full refund for the original umbrella or ship me a replacement free of charge. After much back and forth, the best they would do was offer me either a store credit of $30 (I paid $130), or they would ship me a replacement umbrella if I paid a $40 shipping and handling fee (I had already paid these fees for the first umbrella). Neither of these options were acceptable to me and that’s how the situation ended. For me, the experience of dealing with PolyTEAK ended up being very negative, both in their product quality and in their customer service, and I will never do business with them again."

"Spent $2400.00 on 8 rocking chairs and end tables. With in 2nd weak 2 chairs snapped in half. Called company they sent 2 side pieces. 2 days later right side snapped in half without warning. Next day left side snapped. Called company. They said to super glue it. I did shouldn't have especially on a brand new chair. Let set up for 24 hrs. Next morning within in 15 min of rocking super glue snapped. So I got one of my other new chairs started rocking snapped in half. Since then I now have $2000.00 in rocking chairs that I can't use. Have reach out to polyteak about the chairs snapping without warning. They told me that they r not aware about the chairs snapping. I have sent pictures to them about all of my snapped chairs I have sent E- mails talk to people on the phone and they simply do not care about customer service. It's a horrible designed chair that they have made and they know it and simply do not care to make this right. I have never seen a company that cares nothing about the product that they make for the customer and don't seem to care if the customer is happy or not.I have ask for full refund no one cares. Please do not buy and waste your money on any thing that they sell. You will regret it.Very disgusted customer. And you know who I am."
