"This long running Farmers Market features fresh, local produce from area growers, ranchers, and fisheries. Residents and visitors mingle amongst the displays and stands whilst being entertained by the 'scene' and a variety of entertainers playing music, typing out poetry, and making balloon animals for the kids. Best produce around and there's great stuff throughout the year thanks to Santa Barbara fantastic climate!"

"Amazing selection of great tasting produce and other goods at reasonable rates. Highly recommend their strawberries, avocados, Santa Rosa plums, Ojai pixies, nectarines, pistachios, hummus, and more. Loved meeting local CA farmers, getting recommendations on their best produce, and talking to them in person while supporting local business."

"The Farmers market is a great place to pick up produce and various other foods. Most of the area is shaded so even in the summer it's not sweltering. There are several lots nearby which maybe hard to find if you're not familiar with Santa Barbara, but is worth spending the time to research instead of using the tiny adjoining lot. And since it's beautiful sunny Santa Barbara, you can get a little walk in."

"A great place for people serious about fresh produce. I buy my weekly vegetables and meat here and literally bought a cart to hold the week's haul. Many of the farms that sell at the market are also located in the area. Highly recommend Jimenez Family Farm for their pies and pork-related items, and John Her's stand of fresh and diverse Asian vegetables. Both have really honest and down-to-earth folks working there- thanks so much! Unfortunately the market doesn't have much in the way of food trucks, but as I said... It's a market for produce fans!"
