Reviews of Leo Market
"Good price on beer and snacks and more things as well."
"Dishonest, Rotten Attitude, and Overpriced. I stopped in to pick up a small snack (a package of small Twinkie-like cakes). Within 10 seconds of my stepping out the door, I noticed that the outer cellophane wrapping of the package was open. I immediately stepped back into the store, showed the clerk that the package was open, and requested to do an exchange for an identical item with undamaged package. The clerk refused and then went on to accuse me of opening the package! Seriously?!? Why the hell would I open the package and request a replacement for an identical item? I didn't want to eat anything out of an open/tampered package. This is a safety issue. At any Walgreens, CVS, or any legitimate store this would be an *automatic* exchange with NO hassles. But this jerk refused! I wasn't even asking for a refund. Other reviews (more positive ones) say that this store is owned by Koreans, but the clerk I encountered was Indian. Rather than risking eating something from an open package, I threw the item away. Not only that, the guy quoted me $2.50 (for a small package of two Twinkies -- highway robbery) and then went on to actually charge me $2.85. He didn't tell me he was going to charge me more; he just told me to stick my credit card into the machine and charged me. I'm all for small business -- but honest small business, with good attitudes. Places like this should disappear and be replaced with a legitimate CVS or Walgreens. Not sorry to say it."
"I don’t know if anyone knows this, but there is literally a liquor store right next-door to them. Also, the owner just kick me out from there after I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Only because for the first time there was a guy. Apparently he’s rich because this guy decided to find me what I was there at the liquor store for a regular bag of. Chips and I told him he made my day And noches my day, but a whole life week month, life perspective, and things, and I told him God bless you and he as well told me the same. God bless you too. I was really grateful and thankful because no one has ever done that jester for me in my whole entire life Saw the owner as soon as I left started talking and saying horrible, rude things to me so horrible it made me cry. He said it in his own language he even translated it in front of his employee his employee even felt bad for me I know it’s not his fault just doing his job but to work for someone that rude so I left I came back 30 minutes later cause I was thirsty and dying and Floyd had the owner on speaker on the phone and said way more horrible things to me that I’m Hispanic broke cheap that I don’t deserve to live that I should go kill myself And my heart stopped. I’ve never met anyone like this and this was the moment where I had my first free bag of chips in my whole entire life, and he just saw that as a sign to call me a lowlife and kill myself, so I am here to let you know that not all nice people show their true colors until the end. I love you all and this is a suicide HealthCheck suicide is not the answer. I love you all. I guess he thought I was harassing his fridge customer I guess the only thing that matters to him and it just really is his bunny and I was only grateful for a bag of chips if I would’ve known that free bag of chips, would’ve lowered my self-esteem, and came with a insult of kill myself I would have never excepted it please everyone have a beautiful day and God bless you all and for some reason I don’t think they’re even license to sell food. I don’t see a grade."
"Cute little spot to pick up some snacks and beer and wine in the local neighborhood. Owners are a super sweet Korean couple. There are some parking spots available in the lot as well which is a plus."
"Ran by a friendly Korean couple just like Kim's convenient store on Netflix lol. Good selection of groceries, beer and wine. Perfect place to grab a beer or wine before going out to bars or baseball games. Five stars"
