"Truly appreciate IKEA opening a store now and here amid all the downfall of SF downtown. thank you, IKEA! The place is smaller than regular ikea but still a lot of fun and very practical for people live close by. Parking is $20 at 6x6 garage, which is not ideal but what you gonna do?"
"This IKEA offers a safe parking space for my bike while shopping. This store is much smaller than the ones I used to go to. But they do seem to have the few items I was looking for. This store seems very new and clean, they have few security guards at the main entrance to keep homeless and crazies away which is a huge welcome. The restaurant is small but have similar meatballs plates that is good, tasty and reasonably prices."
"It’s a SHOWROOM ONLY. Decorations can be purchased but everything else is ordered to your home (not for free). I suppose this is a great show room for San Francisco residents that want to skip the trip over the bridge to Emeryville or Palo Alto. Will most likely come back if I need to use restroom or want a delicious inexpensive snack. Facility is clean and well secured. Ice cream is a must and chocolate chip cookies! The best I think I ever have had. I’m still weirded out on how good and soft they are. So good- I got no pic.. No parking garage. But for $15 you can park up the block at an outdoor lot or the hotel next door( I did, it’s covered and secure)."
"Tiny furniture for small living in San Francisco. It's cool that Ikea sells coffee right when customers come in. The design is made for small city living. It's a smaller version of Ikea. I loved all the live plants on the main level. There is a dining area on the top floor."
"Wasn't quite expecting an IKEA in the heart of downtown but I was glad to escape the streets around Union Square for a little bit of Swedish "respite". While not the mountainous and picturesque kind of escape, there is a sense of comfortable familiarity as I wander through the arrays of furnishing, display, and (take a deep breath) the smell. I left the place a little zenned and inspired. IKEA fans know what I mean."
