"We had our son go here all the way until he was 5 and he started Kindergarden. When we had our daughter she also attended here. The teachers and staff were always sweet and friendly. My kids enjoyed going here and I felt comfortable with droppng them off every morning. The end of year recital was always wonderful to watch and both my kids really enjoyed it."

"I dont know why this preschool got such bad rating. the teachers are nice and helpful. my daughter always come home happy i know they are teaching them well because my daughter always surprise me with new thing she learned."

"DO NOT go to this school. When I was going there in kindergarten, a teacher choked me, and I do not reccomend going here. I remember one of the worst times of my life at this place. Would give -1/10, but that is not possible."

"Honestly it saddens me that this school doesn't have better reviews. I feel like this is a hidden gem in Oakland. Being a first time mom, I honestly didn't know where to begin and felt overwhelmed trying to figure a school/ care place for my son, that would allow me to go back to work and school. I won't post specifics but the woman in charge was beyond kind and helpful getting my son in and went above and beyond for us for which I'm extremely grateful for. We've been at Starlite for almost a year and my son is super happy, like he gets upset when there isn't school. He's learned so much in the short time there. Sometimes it's hard to communicate with the instructors as their english is limited but it's never bothered me and there has never been a cause for concern also they're teaching the kids to speak Mandarin so in the end you just find ways to communicate and hey maybe I should learn a little too. We feel safe and secure and my son is also very vocal about his days at school. Everyone there is beyond kind and I'm so thankful to have found this place."
