"When i first went to Sarika’s open house, her talk about Waldorf philosophy , kids playing with heart hands and mind and usage of open ended toys caught my attention. My son went to Sarika’s place since he was one and went there until we moved him to preschool. The toys and activities at Sarika’s are really great. Sarika plans the circle times and play time very well. I definitely saw my kid learn so many new rhymes, stories and skills at her place over the period of time. Sarika has a very small outdoor space, but her creativity with toys and activities are such that it makes up for it. Sarika is very diligent about providing ample food options to meet needs of all kids. She also tries to introduce various textures and different food groups while making sure kids are fed. When i found out she makes her own dosa batter, yogurt and bread i was beyond impressed. She certainly goes above and beyond. Sarika has a calming presence around kids. Her knack for instilling good habits in kids is amazing. She focuses on each kid’s needs and works with them. It is definitely a good mix between a home based daycare and a professional preschool. Overall , i am very happy with the daycare and would recommend it to my friends and family. My kid was always happy and eager to go to the daycare."

"My daughter who is now almost three, has been going to Sarika's for a little over a year now. She was going through a phase of separation and stranger anxiety when we started sending her. Sarika was very gentle and had a calming effect on her and slowly but steadily she overcame her anxieties and started engaging with other kids. She is very fond of Sarika Aunty and her previous helper Kirsten. Sarika engages the kids with play, arts and craft based learnings. I love that they all sing and exercise and do yoga together. Sarika also teaches them sign language that my daughter comes home and teaches me. She has a cute and very kid-attracting back-patio space for outdoor play where they also do bubbles, water play in the summer. I like the kinds of toys/tools she offers to the kids to play with. They include musical instruments, magna tiles, pretend play kits, balance boards, so on. She even calls student nurses that come and teach the kids about hygiene, fire safety and so on. Oh and the home cooked nutritious and diverse foods she offers for breakfast, lunch, evening snacks make my life easy as I don't have to rush to cook and pack food every morning. Overall we have had a very pleasant experience."

Sarika, the owner is very experienced and committed to early child development and education in a safe, caring and nurturing environment. She provides home cooked delicious and nutritious meals which my son loved. She is very patient with the kids and keeps parents updated on all the progress made. Kids were always engaged with songs, dances, coloring and various other outdoor and indoor activities Sarika took up with them, always something new. One aspect of Garden Playhouse Daycare that particularly resonated with us was their adherence to the Waldorf philosophy, where they prioritized the holistic development of each child, fostering creativity, imagination, and a love for nature. From storytelling to art projects, my child's imagination was encouraged to flourish. Sarika also helped us guide my son with various stages of food choices, potty training, sharing things with the kids. Her tips are golden. With her constant efforts, my son by the time he was 3 was singing a lot of rhymes, dancing, telling stories, counting and alphabets. He could tell days of the week, months, all colors.
